If you’ve ever experienced heel pain, then you already know that it can make even the little things feel difficult. Why should I get treated for Plantar Fasciitis? The close relationship between both structures means that tight calves place tension on the plantar fascia around the heel. The calf muscle is the main contributor, as it stretches behind the heel and inserts near the tissue under the bottom of the foot (known as the “plantar fascia”). Foot posture that is out of alignment creates increased stress on the supporting soft tissue structures, leading to small tears in tissue and pain. By default, contours have sharp corners to match the sharp corners of the text, but you can click the Contour corners icon and switch to Round or Bevel corners.
